Pricing

When it comes to pricing, one size doesn’t fit all. Our variety of pricing options allow you to decide what makes sense for your business, like Interchange Plus or Tiered plans. Furthermore, we don’t believe in hidden fees. Our dedication to fee transparency means you’ll know exactly which fees apply before you sign up.

Flat-Rate Pricing
Swiped, Dip, or Tap: 2.69% Keyed: 3.49% + $0.19
An Inactivity Fee of $3.99/mo. applies only to merchants who do not process a transaction for 12 months. When processing resumes, the Inactivity Fee will no longer be charged.
Custom Pricing
Merchants with higher processing volumes or custom business needs.

The Edge ProgramGive your business the edge it needs and increase your cash flow with our Edge Program. Edge allows you to secure a single flat rate for every transaction – all while offering your customers a discount for paying with cash. Edge is compatible with all types of payments, including those made with traditional magstripe or EMV chip cards, and NFC contactless payments like Apple Pay. Certification

North Developer offers payment application certifications or validation processes that are specific to your business needs and the complexity of your integration. Turnkey solutions such as BigCommerce and WooCommerce do not require any certification.

EMV Certification
EMV certification is needed if your application will handle card data directly, or if you’re using a terminal that is not currently supported by our Semi-Integrated solutions. In a Semi-Integrated solution, your application initiates the transaction by communicating with our application which runs on the EMV terminal. Our application collects transaction and card data via the terminal and passes it to North, keeping it out of your server environment. Full Integrations are a great fit for larger merchants that may already fall within PCI scope, as they give merchants direct access to our in-house processor, allowing for advanced customization.

Processor Certification
Processor certification is needed for any product that developers connect to via API, including Semi-Integrated solutions. These integrations are a great fit for merchants that need advanced customization, as the direct channel to our in-house processor allows us to customize the APIs to better meet your needs. The products that don’t require processor certification include our turnkey solutions such as BigCommerce and WooCommerce.
